angels-garageAfter reading an article in the Toronto NOW Magazine regarding the clothing drop off boxes in Toronto, Angel Freedman came to realize the clothes that were being donated were being sold to local shelters. She started to tell others of her findings.

Here in Richmond Hill there were many clothing drop boxes and she thought she could somehow collect the clothing and household items and take them to the shelters directly. The shelters would not have to pay for the clothing that the general public was "giving away". The public often did not know that the shelters were paying for their generous donations.
